Our Story
Welcome to MOMOS — Authentic Taste, Modern Twist, where traditional flavours meet the energy of modern London.
Born from a love of great food, great coffee and the irresistible joy of sharing a plate of freshly made momos, we created MOMOS to bring something special to Dalston, Hackney and East London.
Our passion starts with the momo — a much-loved Himalayan dumpling traditionally filled, folded and steamed to perfection. At MOMOS, we respect that tradition while adding our own modern twist. From steamed and fried momos to rich Jhol Momo and bold fusion creations, every dish is made to deliver big flavour in every bite.
AUTHENTIC FLAVOUR. MODERN TWIST.
Our menu brings together authentic Nepalese-inspired momo flavours and creative modern combinations, giving momo lovers something familiar, something exciting and always something worth coming back for.
Try our signature Chicken Momo, Lamb Momo and Veg Momo, or discover our irresistible Jhol Momo, Butter Chicken Momo, Tikka Masala Momo, Peri Peri Momo, Hot Chilli Momo and Sweet Chilli Momo.

WHY WE DO IT
For us, food is more than something you eat.
- It’s about the first bite.
- The steam rising from a freshly cooked momo.
- The perfect dip of sauce.
- The crunch of a fried momo.
- The richness of Jhol.
- The heat of chilli.
- The comfort of a great coffee.
And most importantly — the people you share it with.
That’s why every momo, every sauce and every dish we serve is created with one simple goal:
To make you crave your next visit:
